First Official Details of Telltale's Batman Game Emerge
You may remember that late last year, Telltale announced they had the rights to make an episodic point and click adventure based on the Batman franchise. At the time, we didn't have much to go on other than a teaser trailer and the company have kept tight lipped on the project since, so official details have been hard to come by, only rumours and rumblings in the deeper echelons of the internet. We now finally have some concrete information on the Telltale treatment of the Dark Knight.
Telltale attended the SXSW Gaming Expo in Austin, Texas and gave attendees the first details on the highly anticipated upcoming game. Including the revelation of this rather hefty tome they have created as a script.
The game will not be tied to any particular iteration of Batman that we've already seen, so it will be a unique story and vision, crafted by Telltale with a degree of artistic freedom to interpret the story themselves. They will be focusing the game on Bruce and Batman, so not that much time will be given to the extended "Bat-Family". It's a Telltale game, so we would be surprised if there wasn't an element of decision making, and, as expected, that is indeed set to be part of the title. The developers stated that "Certain characters will have a deeply personal relationship with Bruce in his private life, and decisions made as Bruce or Batman will affect their paths towards corruption or redemption." you can see the full details on Telltale's website.

Very intrigued by this one. Hope it turns out well, I just want a dark and twisted Bats graphic novel-type story

Yeah, the graphic novel style would be awesome.

We've seen in The Wolf Among us that Telltale can do dark pertty well, I feel this is probably safe in their hands.

Wolf Among Us is on my (ever-growing) backlog of things to play through. Along with all of the other Telltale games that I picked up in a sale a while back.
I played a bit of the first chapter on a demo or something, and I have faith in Telltale delivering something dark with the Bat-franchise.
