First Non-Kojima Metal Gear Solid is Survival Co-Op

A wormhole opens up, sucking the remains of Mother Base through into an alternate dimension full of strange creatures. With co-op sneaking, Metal Gear Survive will be the first online multiplayer title set in the Metal Gear universe.

Set after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, this will be the first Metal Gear title to not involve Hideo Kojima in any way, since his departure from Konami just before the launch of Phantom Pain.

It promises to bring a new twist to the sneaking mechanics of previous titles, as well as a load of new weaponry to combat the new threats.

It's due out in 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
