First Ever Mass Effect Andromeda Gameplay Revealed
Bioware have revealed the first ever slice of official gameplay from Mass Effect Andromeda. Take a look above to see protagonist Ryder exploring a Remnant vault.
The gameplay video shows an incredible amount of detail, both in environments and characters. In addition, while we still haven't seen any combat, the exploration movement looks a lot more fluid than the original Mass Effect trilogy's.
And the environment being explored? We've actually seen it before in a concept art released back in 2014!
Towards the end of the demo, you can see a cutscene, where Ryder and three other characters investigate the possibility of dozens of these Remnant vaults being located in Andromeda.
A lot of questions remain about the gameplay video, and a lot of speculation will undoubtedly be had, but you can certainly see the visuals themselves clearly - the demo is pre-alpha gameplay running on a PS4 Pro.
The video's narrator, Aaryn Flynn (Bioware's General Manager), promises more to come from Andromeda on 7th November 2016 towards the end of the demo. This is Mass Effect's celebratory N7 Day, which takes place every year. Flynn states that the day will bring a "brand new trailer" and "officially open the doors to the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe."
