First DLC for Gremlins, Inc Arrives This Week

Gremlins, Inc., the simulator of all things short, green and capitalist, is getting itself a new DLC pack shortly. The game, which is a collaboration between Alexey Bokulev and Sergei Klimov, is a digital board game with a number of interesting and unique mechanics. We reviewed it recently and rather enjoyed it. Just a few days after launch, there's more content coming to the game.

The new expansion is dubbed Uninvited Guests and contains a number of additional cosmetic addons for the game:

  • 12 new character portraits of the uninvited guests that you can use during the sessions in addition to the regular ones;
  • 6 additional animated emoticons (including 'Facepalm', 'Meh' and a singing & teasing emoticon);
  • 8 additional messages that you can send during the sessions (including 'Cheating!', 'Watch and learn' and 'Not funny');
  • an alternative music theme for the main menu (that is reportedly a huge hit at one of the neighbouring mechanisms);
  • several themes to customise your player profile;
  • an additional optional player icon for the lobby, plus an alternative background for the main menu.gremlins inc uninvited guests

That's not all though, there's a number of enhancements coming for all players at the same time. Regardless of whether or not you download the DLC, as a player of the game, you can expect to see a new single player challenge, new in-game content and the ability to change your starting character. There's also new game content in the form of "automated warden" and "A visit by the president". Finally, players in East Asia and the US West Coast will be pleased to hear that new servers are being opened in these regions to improve the online experience for you.
