Final Fantasy XVI State Of Play Reveals Epic New Gameplay And RPG Elements

The latest State of Play presentation revealed exciting new gameplay of Final Fantasy XVI, which is the latest standalone title in the Final Fantasy franchise. Developed as the first full-action RPG in the series, Final Fantasy XVI is set in an epic dark fantasy world where the fate of the land is decided by the mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This game follows Clive Rosfield — who has been sworn to protect his younger brother Joshua, the Dominant of the Phoenix.

Final Fantasy XVI launches on the 22nd of June 2023 exclusively for the PlayStation 5, featuring a theme song sung by Japanese music artist Kenshi Yonezu.
