Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition Announced
Final Fantasy XV is getting a complete edition in the form of the all-new Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition.
This new package contains not only the base game, season pass content and all updates released to date but also plenty of new features to make it stand out. Furthermore, this is the edition that will be releasing on PC as well in the form of Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition. Both of these editions will include:
- Expanded Map: Insomnia City Ruins: all-new side quests and enemies such as Cerberus and Omega will be available through the expanded map of the Crown City of Insomnia. Players can also take on a battle with the Rulers of Yore
- A fully-controllable Royal Vessel boat: Take control of a boat, expanding the world of Eos and allowing players to explore the area between Cape Caem and Altissia. Players will also be able to fish aboard the vessel and discover new fish and recipes
- A new accessory that can activate the new action “Armiger Unleashed”: Players will be able to unleash powerful attacks while the Armiger is summoned. After collecting all of the royal arms, players will be able to find an accessory in an unidentified part of the world, enabling access to Armiger Unleashed
- First-person camera mode: Allowing players to experience the game from Noctis’ perspective
- More than a dozen pieces of DLC: Including weapons, Regalia car skins and item sets
- All current season pass content: Including Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis and the Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades.
- Archive: Players can review the “Cosmogony” stories scattered throughout the Final Fantasy XV world. Additional local myths and legends will also be placed in various new locations. Through them, players will be able to obtain more information about the world
- Quest to obtain and strengthen the Regalia Type-D
- New Trophies
It is worth noting that for owners of Final Fantasy XV who want to upgrade to the Royal Edition, unlocking the new features, will be able to do so. Available to purchase on 6th March the Final Fantasy XV Royal Pack will cost around $19.99 and be available via the PlayStation and Xbox store fronts. Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition will be releasing on 6th March for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will release on the same date.
Final Fantasy XV is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The mobile version of the game is coming as well later this year.

I dunno, I think it should have been the Royale edition. I know the whole royalty angle of the game, but they could have cashed in on the Battle Royale craze!
