FINAL FANTASY XIV Patch - Dreams of Ice

Alphinaud, Scion of the Seventh Dawn, has founded the Crystal Braves in a bid to grant the realm succor.

In their tireless efforts to protect Eorzea and her peoples, the Warriors of Light now aid this fledgling company in uncovering a plot that could otherwise bring the realm to its knees. What dark forces stir in the shadows of Eorzea?

 

This is how the new patch is introduced. Square Enix has released for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn which introduces a bucket of new stuff.

First, the main scenario proceeds onwards as you can see above. Second, hildebrand is back (again)!  Join Hildibrand and Nashu on their next case to find out if a Manderville man will rise to claim the title of champion of the tournament in Ul'Dah.

Third, we have two new classes, Rogue (knives, daggers, agility, stabby stabby stabby) and Ninja (black armour, short swords, magic, even more stabby).

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The new Primal in the patch is Shiva, lady of frost. The Warriors of Light will have to face off against her if they wish to make it on to the next challenge...

The final coil of Bahamut. Alisaie asks for your help once again to prevent a disaster that would tear the realm apart. You get to see the truth behind the Calamity, and maybe see Alisaie get the answers she has been looking for.

Finally, we get new dungeons. Snowcloak is a totally new dungeon full of ice and sparklies. The other two are hard modes for Satasha and the Sunken Temple of Qarn.

All in all, much fun to be had! We'll see you Eorzea and remember... be nice to the tanks and healers, they are who keep you alive.
