Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.1 Trailer Released
In the recent Letter from the Producer Live broadcast, Final Fantasy XIV director/producer Naoki Yoshida revealed all the details on the upcoming 5.1 patch, “Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty”.
This is the first major patch following the release of the Shadowbringers expansion and it's bringing a lot of exciting content. The main takeaways include new main scenario quests that will continue the story following the conclusion of Shadowbringers and the new collaboration content featuring NieR: Automata.
There will also be a new beast tribe, a new level 80 dungeon, extreme-mode difficulty of the final Shadowbringers trial: The Minstrel's Ballad: Hade's Elegy, numerous adjustments to jobs, New Game Plus will be added, major changes to the Crafting and Gathering jobs, a new game launcher and plenty more.
But wait, there's more! Two weeks following the release of patch 5.1 patch 5.11 will be made available bringing with it The Epic of Alexander, an Ultimate-difficulty challenge, Ishgard Restoration, and Fellowships. Then in the near future patch 5.15 will bring improvements to the Blue Mage job and PvP changes.
Patch 5.1 “Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty” will be arriving on 29th October, 2019.
Elsewhere, the All Saint's Wake seasonal event is currently taking place in the game.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
