Final Fantasy XIV Online Upcoming Patch Information
FINAL FANTASY XIV Online will be receiving support for the next 10 years, announced Square Enix recently. They even announced some of the upcoming content that players can look forward to.
One of the announcement was that they are actively working towards making Final Fantasy XIV more accessible for any player that wishes to enjoy the solo experience; the changes will begin with the patch 6.1 that is set to release in April. In the patch, the Trust System — which currently allows players to tackle select main scenario dungeons with a party of NPCs — will be further expanded by implementing it for all the main scenario dungeons of A Realm Reborn; more is planned to be added later.
Additionally, to help the new players and those that like the single-player experience more, several low-level main scenario dungeons and trials will be adjusted to support an accessible solo-player experience.
And finally, the game's first graphical update is on the way, with the first enhancements aiming to be implemented with the launch of the next expansion pack. The improvements will be for characters and world visuals, encompassing elements like higher-resolution textures, improved material qualities, and better lighting and shadow effects.
Everyone interested to keep up with the game's upcoming updates should keep a heads up for the upcoming partial roadmap.
