Final Fantasy XIV Announces New Merchandise Collaborations

During the recent Letter from the Producer LIVE stream as part of the Final Fantasy XIV FanFest, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida announced numerous new merchandise items including some premium collaborations.

Up first, guitar powerhouse Fender have created a Final Fantasy XIV themed electric guitar, featuring imitation crystal detailing, custom branding on the neck, and a custom, vintage-style hard shell case. This guitar, dubbed the Final Fantasy XIV Stratocaster, will be a limited run and pre-orders are set to open in the Americans, EMEA and Australia in late 2021, with shipment expected in early 2022. 

That's not all, players can also look forward to the Final Fantasy XIV Stratocaster showing up in game as well. The in-game model is inspired by the real thing and will allow players to use performance actions with it. It will be available to purchase in the the Manderville Gold Saucer in the near future.

Up next, CITIZEN are working with Square Enix to create two themed watches named Light and Darkness, inspired by a Crystal of Light and the Warriors of Darkness, respectively. Both of these models have simple, classic designs suitable for any occasion, while still having Final Fantasy XIV branding. The watches are available to pre-order until Wednesday 30th June from the official Square Enix store.

Finally, a range of different official Final Fantasy XIV themed goods were announced alongside these collaboration items. This includes the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers -- The Art of Reflection -Histories Unwritten-, the second art book for the expansion. The Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn -- The Art of Eorzea -Another Dawn- artbook is also getting republished and planned to be released in early 2022. Additionally, six previously released artbooks have been confirmed for digital release, including: 

• Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn -- The Art of Eorzea - Another Dawn -
• Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward -- The Art of Ishgard - Stone & Steel -
• Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward -- The Art of Ishgard -Scars of War -
• Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood -- Art of the Revolution - Western Memories -
• Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood -- Art of the Revolution - Eastern Memories -
• Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers -- The Art of Reflection - Histories Forsaken -

All of these digital editions are planned to release in early 2022. Most of these items can already be pre-ordered from the official Square Enix store with select book retailers opening orders in the near future. 

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is set to release on 23rd November, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Mac.
