FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Limit Breaks it's way onto PlayStation 5

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH has finally got a release date! At Sony's latest State of Play broadcast, a new trailer was shown, revealing not only more details about the game but also ending with a release date. Tetsuya Nomura also revealed new key art for the game, while discussing details about the game and its place in the FINAL FANTASY VII remake trilogy.

Alongside this, Nomura revealed the game's special editions: The Standard Edition, which just contains the game; the Deluxe Edition, which contains the game, a mini-soundtrack CD, an artbook, and a steelbook case; and the Collectors Edition, which contains the same as the Deluxe edition, alongside some minor DLC's, and a large collectable statue of Sephiroth. There is also a digital deluxe edition, which includes digital versions of the deluxe edition content.

If you're looking forward to trying the game, then you can expect it to release on Leap Day of next year — the 29th of February! Mark your calendars and get your swords ready, as it's only a few months away now. Make sure you check out the trailer above!
