Fear the Wolves Coming to Early Access this Month

The team formed from ex-developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Vostok Games alongside publishers Focus Interactive have announced their battle royale-inspired FPS Fear the Wolves is making its way to Steam’s Early Access on the 28th of August.

With the excess of battle royale games; trying to take a piece of the Fortnite and PUBG cake, it will take something unique for players to be enticed to try the next iteration, well how about the traditional last-man-standing gameplay combined with the ruined, desolate radiated weather of Chernobyl? That alongside with fierce PVE challenges and changing environments, there’s potential in this S.T.A.L.K.E.R. like battle royale title.

Vostok Games have been developing the title both internally and via closed beta testing. With the arrival of Early Access the game is ready for a wider audience. The team at Vostok are of course, eager to get your feedback during testing and hope to evolve and mature the battle royale genre.

During development Vostok will plan out their timeline with regular updates, announcements and additions, including a new map, mode, weapons, items, mutants and weather effects as well as balancing based around community feedback.

Fear the Wolves is expected to leave Early Access sometime in early 2019 for PC and consoles. In the meantime, keep an eye out for the Early Access release on August 28th for PC.
