Far Cry 5's First DLC Takes You to the Jungles of Vietnam

Far Cry 5: Hours of Darkness launches on June 5th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This first post-launch DLC will transport players back in time to the Vietnam War. 

You'll play as Wendell "Red" Redler, a Vietnam War veteran from a Far Cry 5 side mission, who must fight to find and rescue his fellow squad members from hostile Viet Cong forces, and get back home. 

Hours of Darkness is playable in both solo and online co-op, and included is a bunch of new gear and abilities, as well as two new playable modes that are unlocked once the DLC has been completed. Survivor Mode, which gives players a limited loadout for a more challenging experience, and Action Movie Mode, where weapons and ammo are in abundance, allowing players to go all out  — think Rambo: First Blood Part 2. 

Far Cry 5's remaining two DLC adventures — Lost on Mars and Dead Living Zombies — will be released later this year in July and August.
