Fans Petition For Cancellation Of New Metroid Game
Metroid Prime: Federation Force was announced only yesterday for the Nintendo 3DS, but it's fair to say it's not been received quite how Nintendo might have imagined.
Almost immediately after its announcement, a petition appeared online requesting the immediate cancellation of the title.
It reads, "With the release of the Wii U and its greater technological capabilities, thousands of fans were expecting a new and improved Metroid game."
"What we got however is a disgrace of a game with the name "Metroid" slapped on the title."
"Help us stop this atrocity of a game from bearing the beloved Metroid franchise name and make Nintendo halt production on it."
At the time of writing, the petition is a little over 2000 signatures short of its target of 10,000.

That is HILARIOUS. Also very true - why put it on 3DS? And why make it multiplayer-only? What were they thinking?!
