Fallout 4 Teaser Site Was a Hoax

In a not so surprising turn up for the books, website thesurvivor2299.com has proved to be a hoax. Alas, Bethesda had nothing to do with it and all that work translating morse code and diving down this particular rabbit hole was for naught. Never mind eh?

The new version of the site (named "Ain't that a kick in the head?" ) now features a YouTube video of sad violin music and a congratulatory message to all those who are members of /r/Fallout that deciphered all the clues, alongside a link for people who took it all too seriously that features a door and a looping MP3 of what would appear to be Fear Factory playing a cover of "Cars" by Gary Numan the title of which makes the authors opinion quite clear. 

 Bethesda may or may not be working on Fallout 4 , but sadly, this site was nothing to do with it.
