Face the Mad King as Halloween Comes to Guild Wars 2

The spookiest time of the year has come to Guild Wars 2 and with it a new challenge awakens. With the launch of the Shadow of the Mad King 2024 event, players can visit each others Homesteads for some trick-or-treaty goodness in addition to decking their own abode out in fitting furnishings!

By visiting either Homesteads or Guild halls and ringing the Haunted Bell, you'll receive a trick-or-treat bag, so make sure to put your best costume on and wow the crowd! Naturally, you'll want to make sure your own home is up to the standard, so new decorations from the aforementioned Halloween Bell to gargoiles and other creepies are available to find and place, just make sure to talk to the homestead vendor, Deft Lahar, in Lion’s Arch during the festival to purchase your spooky homestead decorations!

Speaking of Lion's Arch has also been decked out in Halloween themed decorations, so make sure to enjoy the festivities while you visit. Finally, you can take on a horrifying themed mission with the Ascent to Madness dungeon encounter, available to players of all skill levels!
