F1 2020 - First In-Game Look at Vietnam's Hanoi Circuit
After the recent reveal of F1 2020's first new track, Circuit Zandvoort, Codemasters has revealed the next new track for upcoming racing sim. Hanoi Circuit, shown in the video above, is a 5.6km track immersed in the city of Hanoi. With several long straights mixed with sharp corners, Hanoi Circuit promises to be an action-packed, high speed track indeed. Check out the video above.
Unexpectedly for a straight-laced sim like F1 2020, Codemasters is placing a significant focus on accessibility for inexperienced players who may struggle to enjoy the harsher aspects of the game. Steering assist, automatic track reset and less complex driving on off-track surfaces mean that all players—from beginners to hardened experts—can have a good time with F1 2020. It's a good thing too: with split-screen support, there's a good chance that F1 novices will find themselves up against their speed-demon friends. A friendship disaster for sure if those concessions weren't made for inexperienced players.
Finally, in a series first, F1 2020 will let players manage their own F1 team. Drivers, cars, sponsors and more will need to be organised in order to succeed against the competition. Of course, that's on top of actually competing in the championship too!
What'll you name your dream F1 team?
