Explore Hong Kong Island in the Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Release Date Trailer

It's been 13 years since the launch of Test Drive Unlimited 2, and nearly 18 years since the first Unlimited came to the Xbox 360. We're definitely overdue for the one-of-a-kind driving experience this open-world racing series offers, but thankfully, we won't have to wait much longer! Nacon and KT Racing's Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is officially set to release this fall on the 12th of September 2024. 

Test Drive is known for giving us miles and miles of streets and roads to explore, and in Solar Crown, we'll be getting behind the wheel on Hong Kong Island recreated at 1:1 scale. You can get a peak of the map's different locations in the release date trailer linked above, as iconic cars zip through shipping yards, down long highways, and more. As expected, the visuals are already looking top-notch, and most importantly, the trailer was recorded with in-engine gameplay footage. 

The release date trailer also focuses heavily on multiplayer, showing off player-controlled cars racing each other and exploring the world together. These clips are paired with narration from two characters, giving you a breakdown of the two main factions in Solar Crown: the Streets and the Sharps. Which name will the island remember? It's up to you. 

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
