Expand Your Library With GOG Connect

Today GOG announced a new program they are calling GOG Connect. Connect your Steam account to your GOG one and it will add eligible titles to your library.

You still keep your Steam original, but gain a DRM-free copy on GOG along with any extras you'd normally get on the service. Not all titles are included - this initial rollout includes around 20 titles from Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, TaleWorlds and more.

Some of the titles included are:

The Witness
FTL: Faster Than Light
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
Galactic Civilizations III
Trine Enchanted Edition
Saints Row 2
Shadowrun Returns
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

The titles you can redeem are limited-time offers and GOG will be adding and removing from this list as time goes on. Anything you claim will be yours permanently however.

To go along with this new feature they are also running a GOG Connect week long promo with up to 85% off selected titles including the Broken Sword series, The Witness, Chaos Reborn and more.

I got 6 games, including Shadowrun Returns, and of course, Saints Row 2.

I got 12 of this initial batch. It's great having copies that are unattached from Steam just in case. Having all the little extras GOG throw in is a nice bonus. I feel like you've got dozens of copies of Saints Row 2 at this point haha!
