Evolve Shear Madness Event Begins

2K and Turtle Rock Studios have garnered some wide success with the re-launching of their big team monster hunter Evolve. Stage 2 has brought in the free to play model and now over the course of five weeks they're promising to bring us five big updates as part of their announced month of Shear Madness. 

Starting with the release of The Quantum Surge update, players will be able to try out a new Medic to the roster, Quantum Caira. She has the ability to generate zones of healing for nearby hunters or drop damaging zones to hurt enemies over time. 

Not only that, the update will also include the following:

• Some first steps towards improving widespread community issues on matchmaking and leavers;
• Balance changes;
• A brand new series of Advanced Hunter tutorials
• An all new “Try Before you Buy” option, where all hunters, monsters, skins and perks that you’d normally earn using Silver Keys are now unlocked in the game’s Training Mode.

Over the course of the month, 2K and Turtle Rock Studios will bring more news on the latest evolutionary update for Evolve.

Evolve Stage 2 is available for free to play on Steam. It's a huge improvement over the original release and with its free to play model it's certainly now worth checking out.
