Everything You Need to Know About League of Legends Season 1 Act 1 and Act 2 Skins — Prestige and Exalted Skins Revealed

The newest League of Legends Season 1 Act 1 has officially begun, as players get the opportunity to explore Welcome to Noxus, we get a look at what's coming up to the future. In the first Dev Update for 2025, we get a look at what's coming in terms of upcoming skins.

With the new thematic approach, a lot of the skins in this Act will be focused around Noxus, though not exclusively so. We learn a bit about the choices for the first set of skins and which ones are available on the Battle Pass. Elise's skin will be earnable as the free Battle Pass skin that was promised when changes to the Battle Pass were announced, while Samira, Renata Glasc, and Vladimir will all be part of the premium Pass, meaning these are the assured skins that will get borders. Katarina's skin will be the Prestige Skin of the track, meaning she'll be earnable as the final reward once you've grinded out all of the levels.

The "earnable" prestige skins (meaning those you can earn on the Battle Pass for purchasing it and completing all of the rewards) will be Katarina (which is the one live right now) and Darius, who will be coming in Act 2. Meanwhile, Cassiopeia and Qiyana will both have Mythic Essence skins released to the Mythic Essence shop at a later date. The Cassiopeia skin will be available first, while Qiyana's will be Act 2's Mythic Essence Prestige.

Though the first batch of skins are themed around Welcome to Noxus, that won't be the only available type of skins releasing. Riot 100pc Nuggets teases Café Cuties and completely new thematics that will be arriving, likely with the usual release schedule of one set of skins per patch. With this, we also hear about the April Fools skin: Kitty Cat Shaco, his first legendary skin.

We learn a bit more about the future of Victorious Skins. As we've known previously, Ranked will only reset once per year (as opposed to once per Act as players were anticipating), but that doesn't mean that there will only be one Victorious skin available.Instead, the team is sharing one Victorious skin per Act, but they won't be Act-theme-compliant — seeing as the Victorious line-up is already its own theme, they decided to stick to their guns with this ideology.

Finally, we get an official announcement for Radiant Serpent Sett, in honour of this year's Lunar New Year, and upcoming will be a Mordekaiser skin, both of which are the Gacha skins dubbed "Exalted" last year. Judging by the way the team spoke about Exalted skins, it seems that a new one will drop with each Act, as Sett will be Act 1 and Mordekaiser will be Act 2, but this hasn't been fully confirmed — if this is true, we can expect a new Exalted skin every two months to appear on the Sanctum.

That's all that we got to learn about the upcoming skins. The Prestige Darius and Qiyana, alongside the Exalted Mordekaiser, should release sometime during Season 1 Act 2, which will debut on the 5th of March 2025.
