Developer The Game Kitchen and publisher Tripwire Presents are proud to show off their latest title: The Stone of Madness. Brought to you by the same developers behind the infamous Blasphemous franchise, jump into an 18th-century Spanish Monastery as you take control of five characters attempting to escape.

Steering from the metroidvania and soulslike genres, The Game Kitchen's The Stone of Madness is a story-rich stealth-based title where you will play asa variety of characters attempting to escape the Spanish madhouse. Each character has their strengths, weaknesses, and backstories as they grapple with madness and despair derived from punishment that drives their desire for escape.

Choose the right character for the job as you head out to complete the puzzles that await you. Crawl through tiny spaces, push gargantuan structures to make new paths, or take lives in your pursuit of escape, doing whatever it takes to ensure that you can make it out the other side... with whatever sanity you may have left.

Grapple with the five characters' mental health and stop them from descending further down into madness. Engage with a unique character progression and regression system, where you'll need to manage mental health to avoid further negative effects and traits that might hinder your progress as you try to make your escape — from paranoia and dementia to bouts of violence.
