Eresys’ Early Access Launch Lets You Face Lovecraftian Horrors With Friends
Dragonis Games, the developer behind indie horror title The Shore, has returned to the Lovecraftian genre to bring us the highly anticipated four-person horror adventure co-op game titled Eresys. Now on Steam Early Access, Eresys promises immersive and thrilling gameplay with missions and mind-bending puzzles that you and your team must complete before your enemies unleash terror on the world beyond.
Set in a mysterious cursed forest, Eresys places you and your friends in the role of cult members who are tasked with undoing the dangerous acts of a former cult member. An open Void Portal means horrific entities are spilling out on the secluded island, and in a race against time, you must locate and gather the resources needed to make offerings at altars and perform a final ritual to end these sinister beings once and for all. The inclusion of smart AI and surprise events will keep you on your toes as you try to complete your tasks, but there are always safe houses and caves to hide in for a brief respite from the threats lurking amongst the trees.
Eresys’ Early Access build asserts that the game’s mechanics are solid. It can be played through online co-op or as an offline single-player experience. Over the course of the next six to eight months, the developers will be adding more features, monsters, and content. Quality of life improvements and bug fixes can also be expected. Player feedback is being gathered through in-game forms and Eresys’ official Discord, so be sure to leave your feedback there if you try out the game!
Eresys is available now on PC via Steam Early Access.
