Elite: Dangerous TV Spot

Elite: Dangerous, in case you don't know, is a spiritual sequel to one of the most popular computer games of all time - Elite. Elite itself has been on more platforms than Sonic the Hedgehog, so Dangerous has some big shoes to fill.

In Elite: Dangerous, you have a spaceship and it's up to you to choose what you do with it. Do you become a privateer, a trader, a miner, an assassin... Space is your oyster. You also play across 400 billion star systems filled with other players. You can team up or go solo, but you will always be striving for the title of Elite.

The beta is running right now, so you can go and take part in 55 star systems. It's not cheap at £50, but not the most expensive beta ever.
