Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Gameplay Reveal

Revealed at The Game Awards 2020, the first gameplay trailer for Frontier Developments' Elite Dangerous expansion, titled Elite Dangerous: Odyssey, showed off stunning graphics and on-foot exploration of vast alien planets. Releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the expansion is set to launch in Early 2021.

For the first time in the series' history, the Odyssey expansion will let players explore planets on-foot, taking part in ground-based missions and outfitting their characters with all-new equipment. They can choose between a guns-blazing or a stealthier approach as they tackle a range of boots-on-the-ground combat encounters; meet with other commanders, form alliances and gear up in social hubs spread around the galaxy; and they can even move seamlessly between air and land gameplay with ground-to-air combat scenarios. All of this and more is waiting for players who get their hands on the Odyssey expansion when it hits the market.
