Elite: Dangerous Launch Trailer

Although not cut from in-game footage, the trailer does give an exciting look into the universe of Elite: Dangerous.

And with good reason, as the studio has developed and is releasing with only Kickstarter pledges and pre-orders to fund it. So it's understandable they would want to entice people on board.

Currently in its Gamma phase 2.0 of release, Frontier Developments have confirmed that there will not be a wipe for current pilots, meaning their ships and bank accounts remain safe, even after release.

It will be released on Tuesday 16th December for PC, with a Mac version coming sometime next year.
