Elite Dangerous: Horizons 2.4 – The Return Available Now

Players have scoured the galaxy for relics and secrets that have hinted at a mysterious race hidden among the stars since 2014 and finally, the Thargoids have returned.

Created by Frontier Developments, this space simulator puts the player in the pilot seat of various types of ships, ranging from small, manoeuvrable fighters to large, cumbersome cargo ships. Whether you’re interested in trading rare supplies, salvaging, bounty hunting or in becoming a pirate, Elite Dangerous caters to many different playstyles.

Introduced in 1984 for the open-world space adventure Elite, the Thargoids are iconic for being one of the most challenging threats within the Elite universe and now they are back. They're known to be adept at cutting a swath through fleets and easily outmanoeuvring even the most experienced commander. Introducing a new deadly dynamic into the game and special story events, pilots will need to adapt to new tactics and find new technologies to counter this mysterious alien threat.
