Edge of Eternity Coming to Steam Early Access in November
After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Midgar studio's nod to classic RPGs Edge of Eternity is coming along nicely. So nicely in fact, that the fledgling studio are preparing to get their game in the hands of eager RPG fans. Taking its cues from games like Star Ocean and Final Fantasy, this is classic JRPG with an old-school feel hidden below the new school beauty of visuals from a bespoke modern engine.
“Edge Of Eternity is a labour of love designed as a tribute to JRPG classics,” says Jeremy Zeler, Head of Midgar Studio. “But building this ambitious JRPG has been a long journey. We still have a lot we want to deliver to make Edge of Eternity everything we want it to be. That’s why we decided to move forward with an Early Access launch.”
The game is set to be available to everyone on Steam in its Early Access form as of the 29th of November. Kickstarter backers will get a chance to play earlier however, so if you were a backer of the game, be sure to check your inbox.
