EA Games Are Coming to Steam
A surprise announcement from EA has revealed that its games will be coming to Steam within the near future, starting with the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The announcement came from a post on EA’s official website, detailing the overall approach that EA is taking.
EA access (EA’s own subscription service) will also be available through Steam, making it the fourth platform to feature an EA subscription. PC players will have to wait a bit longer for this feature however, with it reportedly not launching until sometime in Spring next year.
Following Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, The Sims 4 and Unravel Two will also be joining Steam within the coming months, with multiplayer centric titles such as Apex Legends, FIFA 20 and Battlefield V all being available sometime next year. Crossplay between Origin and Steam will also be available for those titles.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release on the 15th November for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
