EA Access Gives Subscribers Timed Play
EA Access replied to a tweet yesterday saying that Madden 15 will have six gameplay hours.
They have now posted up about the release of Madden 15 to the EA Access service on 21st August, telling everyone that you can spread your six single hours across as long as you want, up to the day of release, 26th August. Any progress made will carry over, should you decide to purchase the game with your 10% discount.
There was no mention of a time limit, when the service was announced, and the post goes on to say:
Trial length and timing for other EA Access titles will vary, with details announced closer to launch.
Needless to say, people on Twitter are not enamoured with the idea of paying $4.99 per month for six hours and a slight discount.
Here are some of the nicer tweets:
@EAAccess this was your one chance to NOT be the worst company on the planet.... And you blew it.

@EAAccess @TicoisTocory @EAMaddenNFL I regret my purchase now. I much prefer Season Pass even with the mode restrictions. I get more time.

There is also a hashtag #CancelAccess. People aren't placated by the fact Madden 15 will eventually go into the Vault - because that is a matter of months away and they feel EA promised more immediate access for $30.
