E3 2015 - Square Announces "NieR New Project"

We are warned right away that this trailer is to merely show off the artwork, but I have to say this looks promising. It has been 5 years since the last Nier Title and they have seen quite a lot of fan support. We are introduced to the new NieR with a bunch of binary flashing on the screen which eventually reveals what appears to be a city in ruin and the land being taken back by nature.

The list of creators looks extremely promising so far, including the sound creator of Tekken, the Produced behind Dragon Quest X, and the Game Designer of Metal Gear Rising.
Unfortunately we did not get to see any gameplay as the game is still in early stages of development, however we do get a quick clip of our protagonist. A girl with pure white hair, holding a samaurai sword, who looks extremely badass.

Yoko Tao, the project developer came onto the stage in, what I can only call a creepy mask. He Thanked the fans for the devotion to the series and said that he feels extremely confident that the NieR fanbase will love this game, however the release of the game is still very far off.
