E3 2015 - Mario & Luigi Paper Jam Announced

Well it looks like we are getting ourselves a brand new Mario Crossover, however this time it is not a crossover between two different franchises. Instead we are gifted with a crossover of Super Mario Bros with the Paper Mario series: Mario & Luigi Paper Jam.

 The game features the same combat system as Paper Mario in which you have turned based fighting with a party system. You will be able to tear up your foes with both 3D and 2D Mario characters and use giant Mario character in what appears to be an arena fight!

The game showed that you will in fact have to use some problem solving by using Paper Mario to go places where your 3d party members can’t reach. You will also have to combine hammer strikes with your party in order to defeat certain enemies. We were also shown a quick clip of some mini games in which you are running from a rampaging piranha plant and playing what appears to be a Mario version of squash.
