E3 2015 - Dishonored 2 Announced
Announced during Bethesda’s Showcase event, Dishonored 2 will be coming to PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 at an undisclosed date in the future.
At the moment, details are thin on the ground, but what we do know is that you will have the choice to play as either the previous games’ protagonist Corvo, or a new, slightly more supernatural-based assassin, Emily Kawldin. As to whether you will have to choose to play as one for your play-through or will have the choice to switch between the two is currently unannounced, although an educated guess would be the latter, given Arkane Studios’ and Bethesda Softworks’ fondness of player choice.
Also announced during this section of the show was Dishonored: Definitive Edition. Following with the common trend of taking decent games from the previous generation and breathing some new life into them for the current generation, players will be able to revisit Dunwall sooner than they expected as the Definitive Edition, which comes with both the base game and all the DLC, will launch later this Fall.
