Dying Light Players Successful in Their Quest to Run Down Zombies
Last week, we reported on the contest that Techland had started in their hit survival game Dying Light. The idea was that players would take to their off-road buggies and mow down as many zombies as possible. If the community managed to bounce 5 million zombies from their bonnets, then a golden buggy would be awarded to one lucky participant.
The results for this are now in and the community have excelled themselves, killing over 18 million zombies by vehicular homicide. With more than tripel the target achieved, Techland decided to add a second rare buggy skin to the mix as a thanks to their fans who have clearly taken a liking to the competition in a big way.
Everyone involved will now get themselves a special weapon docket. The winners of the two gold buggies hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s likely we’ll find out very soon as whoever has these two-of-a-kind vehicles is likely to want to show it off when they arrive.
This isn’t the last that we will hear of events like this either. With the success of this challenge, Techland have committed to providing more content in this way, even going so far as to add a dedicated community bounties section on the game’s official website.
