Dying Light Physical Release Delayed
Anyone with their heart set on owning a physical copy of Dying Light may want to reconsider, as they're in for a long wait.
Less than a week before the game's digital debut on 28 January, developer Techland has announced they are delaying the game's physical launch until February 27. The delay will affect players in Asia, Europe, Australia and the Middle East--so North Americans are safe. As an apology, Techland has promised free copies of the Cuisine & Carnage and Ultimate Survival Bundle DLC with physical editions of the game.
While no one has provided an official explanation, as the developer Techland is not actually responsible for the game's release and distribution; that duty falls to publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
Dying Light will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
