Dune: Spice Wars Announces 1.0 Release Date

Dune: Spice Wars, a 4X real-time strategy game developed by Shiro Games and published by Funcom, is officially leaving Steam Early Access on the 14th of September 2023. Inspired by Frank Herbert’s sci-fi masterpiece, Dune, the game aims to deliver a unique take on the struggle for the control of Arrakis, blending all the brutal backstabbing, political intrigue, and Machiavellian plotting into its gameplay.

The 1.0 content update will feature six factions available to play, including House Atreides, House Harkonnen, House Corrino, The Fremen, The Smugglers, and the new arrivals, House Ecaz. The faction you choose will offer a unique flavour to your Dune: Spice Wars experience, offering its own playstyle, traits, strengths, and weaknesses. Additionally, the game features a Conquest Mode, which acts as a campaign with procedural maps and scenarios.
