DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of The Nine Realms Announcement Trailer

During the OG Unwrapped digital showcase we got a first look at DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of The Nine Realms, a game based on the DreamWorks IP.

Set 1,300 years after the first movie, help Thunder find his lost family by finding some friends and soaring through unexplored realms.

We’re excited that in 2022 Outright Games will be able to deliver an incredible DreamWorks Dragons video game and help introduce the world to this all-new generation of characters. As huge fans of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, we’ve loved transporting these amazing characters and realms from the newest TV series to a video game, as well as collaborating again with our partners at Universal. Fans can expect incredible action and adventure when they get to fly and explore as their favourite dragon. We can’t wait to share it with everyone later this year.’’

You'll have to swap between each character (Plowhorn, Wu & Wei, Feathers, and Thunder) to use their special abilities and defeat some fearsome foes, on your quest to find the missing Night Lights, and maybe even save dragonkind itself!

GameGrin was told at a preview screening of the trailer that the game is single-player only, and is aimed at 7-11 year olds.

DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of The Nine Realms is coming to PC, Xbox X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia on 23rd of September 2022.
