Dragon Quest VII Fragments of the Forgotten Past Coming to the West
As part of their second Treehouse session from E3, Nintendo showed us a new trailer and some gameplay of the 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VII. This new rendition was originally released back in 2013 in Japan, but western audiences will be able to get their hands on it soon, when the game releases on the 16th of September in NA and EU (17th of September in Australia).
The visuals have been rebuilt from scratch and the story retold, making this a fresh way to experience the classic PS1 game. There’s also Streetpass support , enabling players to send and receive traveler’s tablets. These artifacts enable the recipient to explore new dungeons that contain rare monsters and unique equipment.
