Download All The Tribes Titles For Free
HiRez studios have decided to celebrate more than 20 years of Tribes by getting all altruistic.
If you head on over to Tribes Universe you can snag seven different titles from the Earthsiege / Tribes universe.
Starting with Earthsiege from 1994, passing on throught Tribes 2 from 2001 and on to their own Tribes: Ascend from 2012 they have made all of the titles available for free, isn't that nice of them?

Nice - but are they all multiplayer? Or is there a campaign mode amongst them I can So I Tried...?

If I recall correctly, the eartsiege titles have solo modes, Tribes 2 has bot matches against single digit IQ bots too. As for the other titles, I am pretty sure they are multiplayer only,

The series was explained to me years ago as "An FPS with jetpacks and skis".. How accurate is that for Earthsiege? Because that sounds friggin' awesome.

Earthsiege is giant stompy robot suits. Tribes is the jetpack and skis bit.
Both are bloody good fun. Tribes 2 was 64 v 64 madness :D
