Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons Announcement Trailer and Information

The Double Dragon series makes a classically themed return this July in the side-scrolling beat 'em up, Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise Of The Dragons. Mixing up the formula, this new title features new roguelite elements and a new tag-team mechanic.

It will also include a diverse roster of characters including series long-timer Marian, who brings with her an assortment of firearms and heavy-hitter Uncle Martin who brings... pure bulk and aggression!

The trailer shows the title sporting an attractive pixel-art visual style and a great remix of the original theme... perfect for bashing the criminal underworld to. It will include local co-op, adjustable difficulty levels and optional permadeath and infinite modes to keep you busy with online co-op planned as a post-launch update later in the year.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is scheduled for release on the 27st July 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
