Disney Dreamlight Valley is celebrating Halloween by giving all players the opportunity to get a free outfit for a limited time.

Some players might be familiar with the history behind this item. Originally, Gameloft accidentally released the Evil Queen Costume for free by setting it as part of Scrooge McDuck's store. This incident led to a lot of players being able to acquire this Premium-quality item ahead of its release date and, even worse, for mere Star Coins.

The problem? It wasn't meant to be part of the free rotation of items. Even worse is the fact that, though it was shared as part of the free rotation, not every player had access to it. So, the lucky selection of people who had it were able to acquire it for free, and then, the outfit was entirely removed from the rotation, meaning a lot of others were robbed of the opportunity of acquiring it.

Until today! The Evil Queen Costume is part of the Premium Shop items for free for a limited time. According to the official post on X announcing this item, you'll have until the 6th of November to get it for free — it'll likely join the rotation of items with the usual costume prices after this brief period.
