Does the Bridge of Progress End and the Howling Abyss Return for League of Legends ARAM?
League of Legends' previous Patch 14.22 is officially out, which brought with it some highly anticipated features. One such change, the Bridge of Progress for ARAM, has been met with mixed reactions from the community. Many are loving the new bridge, but others are wondering: when will the Howling Abyss return?
The good news for those who aren't interested in the Bridge of Progress is that the mode isn't permanent. Changes are coming to fix some of the main complaints in Patch 14.23 with the release of the Arcane content, which will see changes to the visibility issues and the Zaun Grey be slightly altered (though the full list of expected changes is yet to be shared). Still, if you're itching to go back to the Howling Abyss, you'll be waiting a while.
The Bridge of Progress started officially on the 6th of November, and it's expected to be around until the 8th of January, meaning we have 63 total days with the event bridge. This will span into Season 15, and unless Riot Games decides to make the Bridge of Progress an optional game mode (similar to URF and Summoner's Rift running side by side), it'll be a while before we can fight for the Freljord again.
