Disney Interactive to Announce Layoffs?

A source from inside Disney Interactive has come forth with the claim that Disney Interactive will announce a round of layoffs soon.

Despite the success of Disney Infinity, the division has not been as profitable as they want, losing $87 million for it's fiscal year, which ended in September 2013.

Although an official at the California Employment Development Department has confirmed that they have not been made aware of any pending layoffs at Disney Interactive.  Companies with 75 or more employees must make the state aware within 60 days, of any layoffs of 50 or more personnel, so with apparently 'several hundred people' being affected, they would have definitely had to tell California state.
