Dino Dini’s Kick Off Revival Delayed

Dino Dini, creator of the popular Kick Off Franchise, has been hard at work over the last year creating a new version of the game for modern systems. Along the way, he’s been providing us updates on the history of the series in his “Developer Diary” series. So far, he’s covered a lot of the history of the original games, but we’ve only seen a brief glimpse into what led us to today. The latest and final series entry focuses on just that. In it, the veteran developer looks back on the events that forged the creation of this new game.

Unfortunately, with this good news comes some slightly disappointing news for those eagerly awaiting Dini’s return to the gaming scene. Kick off Revival is being delayed for a week “[in] the interests of delivering a high quality, polished gaming experience to players.” This means that the new Kick Off will be coming on 24th June 2016, exclusive to the PS4 initially. The PS Vita version will follow later in the year.
