Developer Resigns After Gabe Newell Threat

The developer of Paranautical Activity who threatened Gabe Newell over twitter has resigned from the company that made the title.

Mike Maulbeck made the comment after Steam hadn’t introduced the game as a full title within a reasonable amount of time.

Published on the Code Avarice site yesterday, Maulbeck explained that he was stepping down ‘so that Steam has no reason to harbor any more ill will towards the company’ with hope that the title will once again be made available. Maulbeck also wanted to note that he had sold his shares in the company to his partner Travis and that he would not receive any money made by the game or any future titles.

Valve are still yet to comment on whether the title will be put onto Steam once again.
