Destiny Free Trial Revealed

Bungie have revealed that players will be able to try Destiny through a free trial or demo. Both experiences will offer a vertical slice of the sic-fi MMO offering a variety of options including character creation, story missions and a wide range of social activities.

The trial allows for progression until level 7 and will give players access to the first five story missions on the Cosmodrome. For those that decide the full game is something that they want to continue with, Bungie have confirmed that player's characters and progression will carry over, provided you buy the full game on the same console you had your trial.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers will be able to upgrade to the full game digitally through the main menu of their trial while PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users will have to buy a copy through their local retailer or digitally through the Xbox and PlayStation stores.

The trial and demo for Destiny is now available digitally on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
