Destiny 2 DLC Curse of Osiris Confirmed
Listen up Guardians, following the events of the one-time use shaders, our first drop of information about the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion has leaked and, more importantly, been confirmed by Bungie.
Dubbed Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris, the DLC is sent to take us on a journey through space and time to save the day and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock, Osiris and his greatest student, Ikora Rey. The details about the expansion were leaked on the Xbox Store and are as follows:
“Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian’s journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury. Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student – Ikora Rey.”
Included with this summary of were the following details from the store listing:
- Explore Mercury and its mysterious “Infinite Forest.”
- New story missions and adventures.
- New themed weapons, armor, and gear to earn.
- New cooperative activities.
- New competitive multiplayer arenas.
- And more…
Though the details showing up on the Xbox Store was unfortunate, not long after the 'leak' they were confirmed to be true by Bungie's Marketing Director, Eric Osborne.

Though there is no word on when the first expansion for Destiny 2 will drop we can only hope it is before the end of the year. Unlike the first expansion that was released for Destiny, The Dark Below, this information for the Curse of Osiris sounds promising.
Destiny 2 is out now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the PC version releasing on 24th October 2017.
