Desperados III Goes Miniature in the Game's Latest Handcrafted Trailer

The latest trailer for Mimimi Games' Desperados III (shown above) continues the upcoming game's streak of trailers that establish the Desperados III world, characters and tone. Impressively, the team has 3D-printed  models of Desperados III characters and placed them in a series of dioramas modelled after in-game scenarios. Towards the end of the trailer, the dioramas explode into life as they transition into in-game footage. It's a novel trailer idea; one well worth checking out.

 While players will have to wait until 16th June to dive headfirst into Desperados III and its take on tactical-stealth action, a free demo is available now on GOG for PC players, containing one level from the game.

Acting as a prequel to 2001's Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, Desperados III sees players guiding John Cooper and his ragtag gang of gunslingers, hunters and runaways on a quest for redemption. Along the way, they'll contend with the worst the West has to offer on some of its toughest terrain to boot. Careful planning and smart character management will be crucial to survive the game's tough enemy encounters: this is no gentle mosey, more of treacherous odyssey
