Descend into Madness in the New Call of Cthulu Trailer

Call of Cthulhu, Cyanide Studio’s upcoming psychological horror game based on H. P. Lovecraft's eponymous creation, unleashed a new trailer during E3. The trailer shows off some of the twisted, creepy locations in the game, and features a healthy lashing of psychotic visions.

In the game, players will plunge into the troubled mind of private investigator Edward Pierce, as his perception of reality becomes more and more skewed the closer he gets to the Great Dreamer’s sphere of influence. Sent to Darkwater Island to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of a family member, his original assignment spirals out of control against a backdrop of suspicious locals, mutilated whales, and disappearing bodies. Pierce’s mind will suffer as he walks a razor-thin line between sanity and madness, leaving players questioning the reality of everything around them. 

Call of Cthulu looks set to be a true homage to one of Lovecraft's most disturbing creations, and will release for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
