Demonschool Delayed Until Early 2025

Demonschool Delayed Until Early 2025

After discussions between the developers, Necrosoft, and Ysbryd, the publisher of titles such as WORLD OF HORROR and VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action, have made the difficult decision to delay the launch of the school-life tactics RPG, Demonschool.

Initially, Demonschool was slated to come out on the 13th of September, however, while they could have published it, it would not have been released in a way they could be proud of.

If it came out on the 13th September, the world would not be as lively as they wanted, so, they have come to the decision to take more time to ship it out in early 2025.

In the time used, Necrosoft can ensure the player has plenty of things to do, as they had promised. Ysbryd has been accommodating of these changes, and so to ensure everyone is kept in the loop, Necrosoft will be creating short dev diaries to show just what they’ve added to the game. You can find these on Steam, with the first one published discussing Burn Status.

While fans are sure to be disappointed, know that this decision wasn’t made lightly. Necrosoft are apologetic for the delay, and they hope that more time on the development will mean a game that everyone can enjoy.

So, until then, keep up with the dev diaries as they’ll be regularly posting these until Demonschool launches in early 2025. Once it launches, Demonschool will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStations 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X|S, in English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
